Welcome to Growing Rose Therapy! I’m a licensed therapist in Colorado who provides mental health services to clients both virtual and in-person. My current office space is located in Denver, CO and offer therapy to clients from all over the state.

As a trauma-informed spiritual therapist, I understand the profound impact that past experiences can have on your mental health and overall sense of being. My therapeutic approach is rooted in creating a safe environment where you feel empowered to explore and process your emotions at your own pace.

I offer a clinical, yet holistic approach to therapy by considering the interconnectedness of your mind, body, and spirit.

Modalities I often use in my therapeutic work:

  • Mindfulness

  • Inner child/teen healing

  • Somatic experiencing

  • Narrative therapy

  • Existential therapy

  • Person centered therapy

  • Play therapy and expressive art

  • Dreamwork

What is a spiritual therapist?

A spiritual therapist approaches therapy through a holistic lens of each individual client. Holistic simply means taking into consideration the full story and experience of the client versus just looking at cognition. Mental health is about considering so much more than just the brain.

Yes, this means we can incorporate tools like tarot and astrology into your mental health care if that’s important to you.

As a spiritual therapist, I focus on the mind, body, and energy of each client, without adhering to any specific religious doctrine or text. To me, spirituality is an expansive word that will be different for each person. Spirituality to some clients is connecting with a higher version of themselves, spirits, God, the universe, community, or simply being connected to nature.

This expansive approach recognizes that nature and the elements around us play a vital role in our healing journey.

Do I have to be ‘spiritual’ to work with you?

Absolutely not. My primary training is in clinical mental health counseling, and I take a collaborative approach to determine what works best for you in therapy.

As a trauma-informed practitioner, I always seek your consent before introducing any new modalities or techniques. Some clients appreciate a more somatic approach, so we may use EFT tapping or meditation, while others prefer the conversational aspect of therapy, valuing external processing in our sessions.

The therapeutic relationship is the most important tool in the therapy process and I value working to build trust with my clients first and foremost.
